Schools Chess Challenge
Description

The NSWJCL's Schools Chess Challenge was an annual tournament for school teams of three players and was held in two divisions – for Primary Schools and Secondary Schools. The first Challenge was held in 1994 and over the years became extremely popular, attracting large numbers of teams – 200 teams (603 players including reserves) took part in 2002.

However, the Schools Chess Challenge has not been held since 2007 due to the unavailability of a sufficiently large venue.
