DATE: Thursday 24th September 2009 (entries to be submitted by 4-9-09)
TIME: 9:45am to 2:45pm
VENUE: SCHOOL HALL at DUBBO CHRISTIAN SCHOOL SHERATON ROAD DUBBO
DIVISIONS: 1. Primary School^ 2. Secondary School (Teams of 3 - a school can enter more than 1 team)* ^The Primary Division will incorporate the NSW Junior Chess League’s Western District Primary Schools One-Day Tournament. *If the total number is likely to exceed 160, schools may be requested to limit the number of teams entered.
ROUNDS: 6 rounds
TIME LIMIT: 30 minutes per game
PRIZES: * A trophy to the winning school in each division * A trophy and a chess book to the overall winners of Boards 1, 2 and 3 in each division. * A trophy to the runners up of Boards 1, 2 and 3 in each division. * A trophy to the third place getters of Boards 1, 2 and 3 in each division.
FOOD: Students to provide their own lunch and refreshments.
ENTRY FEE: $12-00 per team of 3
