UNDER 18 and UNDER 12
Eligibility: Players must reside outside Sydney (defined as the Country of Cumberland – the area bounded by the Hawkesbury River in the north, its tributary the Nepean River to the west, then the Cataract River, the Cataract Reservoir and the Cataract Creek to the south; from there the boundary follows a line to the coast at Bulli Point, north of Wollongong). Players must also be under the age for the tournament (under 18 or under 12) on the day of the qualifying tournament and, if they qualify for the finals, on the day of the finals. Players do not have to be members of the NSW Junior Chess League but are welcome to join – for membership details click HERE.
Qualification: The top two eligible place-getters in the Under 18 and Under 12 divisions of the three Qualification Tournaments listed below will be invited to compete in the finals in Sydney on Sunday 19 December 2010.
• Western Qualifier
